Actual inauguration will be on Wednesday, 3 August 2011.In the Morning: Formal Inauguration of the Stupa by His Holiness the Drigung Kyabgon Chetsang. In the Afternoon: Celebration of His Holiness's birthday . Please let us know if any of you would like to join with us, we will provide according to your needs during the stay at Tserkarmo monastery.

Special Note: As August 6th is the anniversary of the flash floods in Ladakh, in the evening, His Holiness will preside over a hundred thousand ganacaka and lamp offerings, followed by aspiration and dedication prayers for those who lost their lives in this tragedy

ReplyDeleteThe pictures are very nice, looks like a very peaceful place - someday where I hopefully will be one day and maybe then even doing my retreat. I would really like to come, but unfortunately none of us can, but it's okay, because next year we can definitely and our minds will be with you and Lama Sangyas and the rest anyways! :)
